About Mill Lake
Built in 1936, this cabin community welcomed urban youth to their first travel and outdoor recreation experience. Closed due to disrepair in 2000, 18 of 21 original buildings exist.
Waterloo Recreation Area is the largest state park in the Lower Peninsula and is home to campgrounds, swimming beaches, trails, the Gerald E. Eddy Discovery Center and more.
