    By Olivia Rau The Mitten Brewing Company is a vintage baseball themed microbrewery located in a historic firehouse, Engine House #9, in Grand Rapids’ West Side. Since its opening in 2012, the Mitten has built a unique reputation for pairing high-quality craft beers and gourmet pizzas with community involvement. Giving back to the local community is a core value of the Mitten—they have given more than $300,000 in charitable gifts to local nonprofits since 2012. @theofficialmrla Educational Foundation has announ @theofficialmrla Educational Foundation has announced it will administer $45 million in Employee Assistance Grants. 

Applications open for submission at 9:00 AM THIS FRIDAY, January 15 and remain open until 5:00 PM on Monday, January 25. Please note that these grants are **NOT** based on a first come, first serve basis. Applications will be accepted during the entire 10-day period, so make sure you application is filled out completely and correctly.

💲Eligible recipients meeting all criteria and providing a complete and accurate application will be awarded assistance up to $1,650. The award is taxable, but it will NOT count against your Unemployment as income.

MC4T collaborated with the Michigan Coalition for Clean Forests/ @michigandnr to help promote the Adopt-a-Forest program more specifically to past MC4T volunteers, since our large-scale volunteer clean-up event for 2020 was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
