On Tuesday, April 19, 40+ volunteers got together On Tuesday, April 19, 40+ volunteers got together at @botanicgardentc in Traverse City, MI to kick off the 2022 @puremichigan Governor's Conference on Tourism!

These tourism industry professionals chose to start their conference experience by rolling up their sleeves and giving back to the local community. Volunteers helped remove old materials from the Botanic Garden's Carriage House and scraped paint off of its exterior walls to prep for new paint once warmer weather arrives. Volunteers also cleaned up the grounds around the old scale on the property, cleaned and sanitized picnic tables, and helped clear out flower beds. They were also able to go on a mini tour of the facilities before the morning was over.

GREAT JOB to all of the volunteers who braved the cold and windy mid-April weather in northern Michigan to help make a difference!
